This seems to be a simple question. But millions of people have no clue about the answer!

According to Dr. Colin Tom Campbell, distinguished nutrition scientist at Cornell University, plant-based foods can provide a full spectrum of nutrients that humans need and meat and dairy products are not essential for any one's healthy diet.

The only thing that vegetarians need to use is supplements of vitamin B12, which is found rich only in animal-based foods.

In fact, Dr. Campbell' studies suggest that people who eat a diet full of plant-based whole foods tend to be healthier than meat eaters.

In his book, the China Study, Dr. Campbell says that the Chinese who live in the countryside eat lots of whole grains and vegetables, little added fat and meat/dairy/egg even though they eat more calories are much less likely to develop chronic diseases like cancer, heart disease, type 2 disease and autoimmune diseases compared to the Westerners.
