What you need to prepare turkey gravy from drippings

- Drippings from a cooked or roasted turkey
- Turkey stock
- 6 tbsp of flour
- Groceries
- Wire Whisks
- Roasting Pans
- Wooden Spoons
- 1 Quart Measuring Cups
- Gravy Boats

The following turkey gravy recipe yields 4 cups of turkey gravy.

1. Collect all the drippings from the roasting pan into a glass measuring cup that can hold 1 quart of liquid. Leave all solids including brown bits on the bottom of the roasting pan. But if you don't mind, you may use all things you can collect.
2. Let the drippings stand until the fat gets separated from the drippings.  Spoon off the fat and save it for later use.
3. Add 4 cups of turkey stock in the measuring cup.
4. Set the roasting pan over medium-low heat.
5. Add 6 tbsp. of the saved fat and put everything back in the roasting pan. Sprinkle the flour over the fat.
6. Whisk flour and fat for a couple of minutes or until everything turns a nice golden-brown color.
7. Mix the drippings and turkey stock into the roasting pan.
8. Simmer the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes, whisking a bit.
9. Simmer if the gravy is too thin, whisking often to make the turkey gravy thick. If it is too thick, whisk in some more turkey stock.
10.Add salt and pepper into the gravy to boost the taste.
11.Strain turkey gravy if you want to remove any remaining encrusted solids.
12. Pour gravy into the turkey gravy container and serve
