Actress Brittany Murphy dies of cardiac arrest

Brittany Murphy, an American actress, died early this morning of cardiac arrest, tmz.com reported. She was 32.
TMZ cited multiple sources as telling the celebrity magazine that Murphy went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived.
A 911 call was placed around 8.00 from a home in Los Angeles that belongs to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department was cited as telling TMZ.
Murphy was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was pronounced dead when she arrived there.
The beautiful actress and also recording artist was born on November 10, 1977. She has starred in a number of films including Just Married, Clueless, Girl, and Interrupted among others according to Wikipedia.
Murphy was first engaged to Joe Macaluso in Dec 2005, a production assistant she met while working on a film called Little Black Book. But their engagement ended in Aug. 2006 and Murphy married Simon Monjack a screenwriter in 2007.
Cardiac arrest (SCA) is a condition in which the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating. It comes often without prior warning signs. When this happens, blood stops flowing to the brain and other vital organs. The condition usually causes death if it's not treated within minutes.
Celebrities Tim Russert, Joe Strummer, and Michael Jackson all died of sudden cardiac arrest. An estimated 325,000 Americans die of the condition each year.
Brittany Murphy was rumored to have received a couple of plastic surgery procedures during her career. But there is no reporting that she suffers any major medical condition that could potentially lead to cardiac arrest and death.
