New drug shrinks breast cancer

A new study presented at the 32nd annual CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast cancer Symposium shows that a new antibody drug helped shrink or halt the growth of metastatic HER2 positive breast cancer in many patients whose disease became resistant to standard therapies.
Metastatic or advanced breast cancer and other cancers alike are non-stoppable in the past. Conventional treatments may save only a few percent of patients with such a disease.
Ian Krop. MD, PhD, coauthor of the study reported that the hybrid agent called T-DM1, shrank tumors by 30 percent or more in 40 percent of women with HER2-positive cancers.
What is more important may be that 13 percent had stable disease for at least six months. The median time before the cancer progressed was 7.3 months, according to a press release.
There is no comparison given in the press release to demonstrate how better this hybrid agent is at extending patients’ lives compared to standard therapies.
What kills a breast cancer patient is not the disease itself. Patients get killed after the disease spreads to other vital organs like the lung, liver and brain, according to an early report by Chicago Tribune. Shrinkage of breast cancer (even complete removal of the breast) does not necessarily stop spreading of the disease. At least the new drug could not halt the spreading of the disease for a long term.

Idiotic reporting where states "What kills a breast cancer patient is not the disease itself. ,,,spreads to other vital organs....
It is the same disease, metastasized to elsewhere. Local disease recurrence rarely kills. The reporter needs some remedial education.

The spiritual cost is at a very "costly" level of "faith" of time to develop from "unbelief, to "weak faith" , to "faith without feigning" and then on to "strong faith" which are quoted levels of faith in The Christian Bible. Oh, I recommend that everyone go to Dr. Lorraine Day's excellent website "drday.com" and purchase her videos...especially, the ones called
"Cancer Does Not Scare Me Anymore" and "You Cannot Improve On God". Both Dr. Day and myself have not had a return of
"cancer of any kind" for over 20 years.
Consequently, we are "Proven Believers" in God's Ways of Healing Diseases just like Drs. Pauling, Lorenz, Caldwell Eselstyn, author of "How To Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease" which means that the nutrients get more efficiently to all part of the human body so they can prevent and reverse diseases.
Medicines are a "temporary patch job" God's Medical Recommendation to Adam and Eve was given in The Book of Genesis, Chapter 2, Verse 15. Read it and believe it and just get well or "get well" by implementing God's Recommendation and Dr. Day's emergency recovery usage of God's Nutrition and Dr.Caldwell's recommendation for permanent health. IT WORKED FOR THEM AND IT HAS BEEN WORKING FOR ME FOR ALMOST 80 YEARS WITH NO USE OF MEDICINES FOR 20 YEARS. I have actually been asked if a person can "consume vitamins that are in foods and take medicines at the same time and my answer is "if you stop eating foods you will probably die in less than 60 days. If you stop drinking water you will die sooner." Water and food seem to be kind of necessary elements for humans to stay alive." Two very important facts that are rarely included in reporting.
The issue of a minority of important cancer stem cells being untouched by therapies that offer "shrinkage" of the less important cells is thought to explain why shrinkage doesn't necessarily lead to better survival. It's like getting a 90% cure of an infection. Might reduce your symptoms, but it comes back..perhaps more resistant.
Regarding cannabis, it is thought to have estrogenic qualities which could be a problem in estrogen driven variants of breast cancer.
