Why Doesn’t the U.S. Ban a Vaccine that’s Killing Children Overseas?

It is a sad tragedy when children lose their lives for any reason, but when previously healthy children die following what should be a safe and “routine” round of immunizations it makes the tragedy that much worse.

So far, investigators have little to say by way of explanation, except to state, “This is a case of adverse event following immunization … This is not a new phenomenon …”

No, it’s not new at all, because every vaccine carries a risk of injury and death that can be greater for some than others. Unfortunately, most won’t know that they’ll be affected until they suffer the sometimes permanent, or deadly, consequences.

And very often, the true causes of the adverse event are never really found, and certainly not addressed to prevent them from reoccurring in the future. Instead, death and illness following vaccination continues, with many simply brushed off as coincidence.

Just How Common are Serious, and Deadly, Vaccine Reactions?

What happened to the children in India has happened in countries all over the world. In Argentina just two years ago, 12 infants died after receiving a pneumonia vaccine that was part of a clinical trial. That same year, a 6-year-old girl from the U.S. died after receiving the FluMist vaccine, while dozens of young girls have died after receiving the Gardasil vaccine.

There were also numerous reports of deaths linked to the swine flu vaccine last year, but all were deemed to be the result of other underlying medical conditions, a common scapegoat for vaccine reactions.

But as Barbara Loe Fisher, founder of the National Vaccine Information Center, recently stated:

“The truth is, nobody knows how many vaccine victims there are in America, how many of the 1 in 6 learning disabled children; or the 1 in 9 with asthma; or the 1 in 100 who develop autism; or the 1 in 450 who become diabetic, can trace their chronic inflammation, disease and disability back to vaccine reactions that have been dismissed by public health officials and doctors for the past century as just "a coincidence."”

How Many Vaccine-Related Deaths are Acceptable?

A quick search of the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) reveals nearly 1,000 U.S. deaths related to various vaccines. With over 70 vaccines included, VAERS is an excellent tool that can help you easily identify which vaccines are associated with the most side effects.

It is important to know, though, that only a tiny fraction of the reactions are actually reported. Studies have estimated that less than 10 percent, to as little as ONE percent, of side effects are ever reported, so the true side effects, and deaths, are easily FAR higher than the reported statistics represent.

The truth is that while vaccines may be touted as safe, ALL vaccines and other pharmaceutical products carry a risk of injury or death; researchers have even looked into just how much risk people are willing to accept.

This is something that the media or nearly every health professional will fail to help you understand. Most take the position of Paul Offit who believes that everyone should be forced to have mandatory vaccines to help eliminate disease. This is in spite of the fact that there is no evidence to support this strategy and loads of data, like this report, to avoid this strategy.

Great Example of Vaccine Nonsense

Take this study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology called, Rotavirus Vaccine and Intussusception: How Much Risk Will Parents in the United States Accept to Obtain Vaccine Benefits? It gives a glimpse into how much planning and orchestrating goes into the marketing of any drug or vaccine – down to the exact number of “acceptable deaths” that parents will put up with and still get their child vaccinated, and how much they’re willing to pay for the vaccine, based on its stated risks.

The study reads:

“As the proportion of the population protected from previously common childhood disease has increased, concern has shifted to possible vaccine-associated side effect… Despite the obvious benefits of vaccination, no vaccine is completely safe. The impact of risk on parental acceptance of new vaccines is important to ascertain. “

They found that the higher the education and income bracket of the parents, the lower the acceptable risk.

In order to achieve a 90 percent acceptance rate (a typical target for recommended childhood vaccines), they found that parents would accept no more than 1,794 cases of vaccine-related intussusception (a problem with the intestine in which one portion of the bowel slides into the next) caused by the rotavirus vaccine, per year. 

This incidence rate corresponds to 359 surgeries and 14 deaths, 11 of which could be related to the rotavirus vaccine. 

However, this and other studies of parental attitudes toward vaccination have repeatedly demonstrated that parents still prefer their child dying from an actual disease than dying from side effects associated with vaccination.

This is an interesting observation and provides a major clue that the drug companies fail to appreciate. The smarter the group they are seeking to vaccinate the more resistant they are because they have done their homework and they are simply unwilling to trust the government on this issue.

All they have to do is look at the miserable failure and pack of lies that was the swine flu campaign of last year to appreciate that there are huge problems with the vaccine program as currently implemented.

With Many Vaccines, ANY Risk is Too Much

Even if the risk for some vaccines is low, what many find when they examine the research carefully is that the benefit for many vaccines is virtually nonexistent, which then means there’s no reason to accept ANY risk.

Earlier this year, for instance, more than 1,000 people came down with the mumps, and almost all of them had been vaccinated against this disease! This begs the question of how effective the vaccine schedule really is, considering the MMR vaccine apparently does not always work as advertised.

Then there was the revelation that Rotarix, another childhood vaccine for a disease that is mild in most U.S. children, was contaminated with DNA from a pig virus! This information came out after it had already been given to about 1 million U.S. children along with 30 million worldwide.

Along with being contaminated and showing little benefit for a disease that is typically entirely treatable with fluids and rest, a recent drug review by the FDA also found that Rotarix is associated with a significant increase in pneumonia-related deaths in children, compared to a placebo.

The bottom line is that there are so many unanswered questions when it comes to vaccines that it really boils down to a roll of the dice as to whether the vaccine will ultimately protect you or harm you.

Dr. Larry Palevsky, a board-certified pediatrician trained at the New York School of Medicine, explains how even many of his colleagues are unaware of the lack of safety studies surrounding vaccines, and this applies to much of the public as well:

 “I think that if you ask most of my colleagues where they get their information, they will say that they read it from the American Academy of Pediatrics, from the AMA, from the CDC, and in their journals.

But I would like to challenge most of my colleagues to look through the studies themselves to actually see if the proper scientific studies were done using a proper study group and a proper control group.

Were the ingredients in vaccines properly studied?

Is there a difference between being exposed to a virus, bacteria, heavy metal or toxin through the air, food, your intestines and your skin, versus when it’s injected into your body?

Have we really looked at what happens to vaccine materials once injected into a child? Is an antibody sufficient to provide protection for a child against disease?

More and more studies are coming out to show that:

• The proper studies haven’t been done
• Antibodies are not the final way in which your body is protected
• There is a difference between how children process material through air and food versus through injection
• There are particles in vaccines that do accumulate in your body and cause impairments in your immune system
• There are particles in the vaccines that get into your brain
• There are foreign DNA particles that get into your body

For many health professionals it is a shock to discover that there is such a lack of information on the safety and efficacy, and a mounting degree of information that actually raises suspicions about the safety and effectiveness of vaccines, and whether or not they have been properly studied.”

Why Most Physicians Fail to Understand Vaccines

The sad reality is that most physicians are very busy and are relying on professional organizations and agencies to review the hard data so they can make their recommendation based on their “expert” review.

Sounds like a great strategy, but it fails miserably as the drug companies figured out long ago this is the strategy they would use. So they bought off many of the experts by directing hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars to them personally and as a result of this relatively minor investment they are able to influence nearly all the professionals with their propaganda.
