Where can I buy Treasury Securities directly from the U.S. government?

Treasurydirect.gov is the website where you can buy and redeem securities directly from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, according to Treasury Direct.

At Treasury Direct, you will be able to buy and redeem securities in paperless electronic form, manage your savings portfolio online, access to product information on the entire line of Treasury securities from Series EE Savings Bonds to Treasury Notes.

At treasurydirect.gov or with your Treasury Direct accounts, you are offered Treasury Bills, Notes, Bonds, Inflation-Protected Securities and Series I and EE Savings Bonds in electronic form.

Additional, at treasurydirect.gov , you can purchase Treasury Bills, Notes, Bonds, and Inflation of the differences between Treasury Direct and legacy Treasury Direct.

Treasury Direct is brought to you by the US Department of the Treasury Bureau of the Public Debt. The mission of Public Debt is to borrow money to run the federal government.
