Panel to host teleconference to answer media questions about phthalates
ARLINGTON, VA (December 14, 2009) – With the impending release of the Environmental Protection Agency’s chemical action plan for phthalates and the expected announcement of the members of the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Chronic Hazard Advisory Panel, the Phthalate Esters Panel of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) will hold a teleconference to analyze the results of most recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study on phthalates, provide an overview of what phthalates are and how they work, and answer questions about the state of play on phthalates-related issues.
