The 7-magnitude Haiti earthquake has drawn US Presidents’ attention.
President Bill Clinton and George W. Bush launched Clintonbushhaitfund.org in response to the Haiti earthquake that may have killed more than 100,000 people in the poorest country probably in the Western hemisphere.
The domain name clintonbushhaitifund.org was registered through domain name registrar godaddy.com on Jan 13, 2010 by the William J Clinton Foundation located at 55 W 125th St., New York, New York 10027. The website is hosted by peer1.com
Both presidents issued a joint statement on Jan 14 saying "We are deeply saddened by the devastation and suffering caused by the recent earthquake in Haiti. The people of Haiti are in our thoughts and prayers."
Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton started coordinating fundraising for Haiti earthquake recovery reportedly at the request of President Barack Obama after a meeting at the White House.
According to Clinton Bush Haiti Fund website, donations can be made in a number of ways. The site gives the following advice.
