Flash sales are deep discounts offered to buyers for a short period. Flash sales are kind of similar to short sales in real estate.  Cutting the price deeply to secure a quick sale.

Merchants use the marketing tactic to allure buyers to return often to their stores or online shopping sites hoping more visitations lead to more sales.

Theoutlet.com claims that it offers flash sales often. It's so often that the site claims it is flash sales.  On the home page of the website, it says "Welcome to Flash Sales".

Theoutlet.com offers flash sales with prices up to 85 percent off the tag prices.  The site sells clothing, bags, shoes, and accessories.  So it looks like it is more for women than men.

Flash sales are not frrquently offered as they are deep discounted deals meaning that merchadizers will have to give quite some margin or incur a loss in profit.  If you check the search term on google.com, you will find entries for flash sales are no more than 70,000.
