Where can I learn about the U.S. presidents?

Information on former U.S. Presidents, including biographies, is available from the White House website. For additional information on past presidents, please visit the Library of Congress website.

Presidents' Day is always observed on the third Monday in February to honor the former Presidents of the United States. This year, Presidents' Day is February 15, 2010.

When sending letters to former Presidents, the proper form for addressing the envelope is:
The Honorable (President's name)

The proper form for the salutation in the letter is:
Dear Mr. (President's last name)

Finally, the Ronald Reagan Centennial Commission was created on June 2, 2009, to plan, develop, and carry out activities to honor former president Reagan on the 100th anniversary of his birth.
