Tualatin Valley Water District posted a short notice on its website saying that residents covered by TVWD are NOT affected by the city of Portland Boil Water Notice.

Today, Portland Water Bureau (PWB) posted a public notice advising customers/residents not to drink tap water without boiling it first because E coli was detected in Reservoir 3 in Washington Park, foodconsumer.org reported today.

Affected residents are those who use tap water delivered by Portland Water Bureau, Burlington, Palatine Hill, and Valley View Water Districts, according to the PWB.

Tualatin Valley Water District serves about 200,000 people in Washington County and parts of Beaverton, Hillsboro and Tigard Oregon. It uses water from two sources, PWB and Joint Water Commission.
