No regulatory agency in the Western world has banned aspartame, because there is no credible scientific question against it. Consider this critique of Mercolas comments about aspartame: http://whatdoesthesciencesay.files.wordpress.***/2010/07/extraordinaryclaimsaboutaspartameinthehuffingtonpost.pdf. If you still think this man has credibility consider this post: http://www.quackwatch.***/11Ind/mercola.html.

The above coment is delibertaely misleading. Aspartame has been banned in some countries and there IS credible sientific question against it.
It is that type of nonsense that leads the publc into thinking, incorrectly, that aspartame is safe. It can, amonst other things, INCREASE SEIZURES in people with epilepsy to more than a 100% increase. I should know, it does with me!
