People with high blood pressure may not have to count on healthy diet, exercise
and medications to get their blood pressure under control.  New media reports
that a new procedure has been found that can literally restore your high blood
pressure to normal levels in hours.
High blood pressure is a risk factor for heart disease, stroke and other
disease. There is no cure previously known that can eliminate the health problem
that affects millions in the United States.
The small operation is known as renal sympathetic-nerve ablation. What doctors
do is to insert a wire into a blood vessel close to the kidneys to burn through
nerves to disrupt signals that stimulate high blood pressure.
Better yet, the procedure which reportedly costs thousands of dollars causes no
side effects while lowering high blood pressure to normal levels.
Dr Paul Sobotka, chief medical officer of Ardian, the company has developed the
equipment, was quoted as saying: "For the first time we can think of a cure for
hypertension."
High blood pressure or hypertension affects one in every three adults.  Only
half of all patients get their blood pressure under control.
