foodconsumer.org: Apple adds MMS support to iphone Apple adds MMS support to iphone ================================================================================ admin on 09/27/2009 18:24:00 News outlets report that Apple has added support for "multimedia Messaging Service" or simply MMS on its iphone 3G and 3GS. Responding to the addition of the new iphone feature, AT&T has enabled iphone MMS on its network just today, according to The Washington Post. But even savvy iphone users are complaining that the iphone MMS is not working as expected in some cases, according to cnet.com and the Washington Post. Apple does not say how well iphone 3GS with MMS could read multimedia content. It says that you can "take a photo or shoot some video, then send it via Messages. You can also send audio recordings from Voice Memos, contact informaiton from Contacts and locationsn from Maps." The photo or video sent through an iphone can only be displayed in an MMS-enabled device, Apple says on its website. The size of the MMS message is determined by your carrier.
