New Jersey native Jamie Faitelson, a.k.a. Chef Hymie Grande has made it his mission for people to eat healthier, but without sacrificing flavor or food that tastes great. He has created a product line that launched this past June at the NASFT Fancy Food Show in New York to great praise. He believes in not only using no high fructose corn syrup or processed sugar, but now Chef Hymie Grande' (www.chefhymiegrande.com ) is the first and only bottled BBQ sauce to carry the seal of the American Diabetes Association on the label. It has no high fructose corn syrup, no processed sugar, it is all natural and vegan friendly. The next product in the Chef Hymie Grande line is his new ketchup, which has already received approval by the American Diabetes Association and will also carry the ADA mark on the bottle's label, another first.

I recommend using Splenda over sugar, sucrose, or any other synthetic sweetener any day actually, the worst side effect if you over use it and that's very difficult to do. (You would have to drink gallons per day to do it.) but basically the only side effect is that it shrinks your thyroid slightly. This side effect usually only lasts for a little while and only while consumption levels are at those all-time-highs.

As with everything! MODERATION!
use your brain, but honestly you could probably have a soda once in a great while just not every day, you can probably have sugar once in awhile just not every day, you can probably drink NutraSweet etc once in awhile but avoid drinking it or consuming it because the chemicals contained in it are highly toxic.

Some people have allergic reactions and NutraSweet sweetener behaves like a nuero-toxin in their brains causing brain damage or worse. There is some research saying that NutraSweet or other such sweeteners break down with heat into other chemicals like formaldehyde or worse. So if you HAVE to have your synthetic sweeteners for GOD SAKE keep them COLD so they don't break down.

Another sweetener which was first intended as a bug repellant which failed but then became a sweetener when the scientist when they accidently consumed it is aspartame.

Aspartame is highly nuero-toxic
so many side effects in fact that websites have been created to list them.
http://www.sweetpoison.com/aspartame-side-effects.html

A few of the listed side effects are...
decreased vision
pain in both eyes
tinnitus
seizures
tremors
depression
anxiety
irreversible brain damage
birth defects including mental retardation
ADHD
suicidal tendencies
hyperactivity in children
and about 30 diseases are actually triggered by aspartame
including cancer.
