										<description>It is inaccurate to say that &amp;quot;boy brains bathe in testosterone and girl brains bathe in estrogen&amp;quot;.  During pregnancy, the fetus produces AFP which binds and inactivates estrogen.  Boy brains are exposed to testosterone, but girl brains are not exposed to estrogen.  Due to the aromatization of testosterone, boys are actually exposed to more estrogen than girls.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Williams syndrome results in endocrine abnormalities which affect steroids other than vitamin D.  Moreover, some individuals with WIlliams syndrome also have autism.  Claiming that vitamin D excess results in the &amp;quot;opposite of autism&amp;quot; is inaccurate and grossly oversimplifies a very complex disorder.</description>
