A new EWG report found that Big Food groups opposed to labeling foods that contain genetically engineered ingredients disclosed $9 MILLION in lobbying expenditures that made reference to GE labeling in the first quarter of 2014 – nearly as much as they spent in all of 2013!

95 percent of Americans support GE labeling, and states across the country are moving to pass laws that require it. Groups like the Grocery Manufacturers Association are putting profits before your fundamental right to know.

**Big Food is willing to spend millions to stop EWG and the GE labeling movement. We need to show them the power of EWG’s grassroots community – *your* power. We absolutely must raise $35,000 bymidnight TONIGHT to make our monthly budget.**

[**Can you donate $10 or more right now to help EWG make our budget deadline so we can combat the Big Food lobbyists and keep on fighting for GE labeling?** ](http://action.ewg.org/salsa/track.jsp?v=2&c=P2L6ymH9XRzrdx44s16NaHkS3MabOqr%2F&ref=foodconsumer.org)
