# Body fortress names IFBB PRO and active duty U.S. Marine XAVISUS GAYDEN to athlete roster

**BODY FORTRESS NAMES IFBB PRO AND ACTIVE DUTY U.S. MARINE XAVISUS GAYDEN TO ATHLETE ROSTER**

*International Federation of Bodybuilders Pro to contribute training tips, appear in advertising and make personal appearances as brand ambassador*

**RONKONKOMA, NY, November 12** \- [Body Fortress](http://www.bodyfortress.com/?ref=foodconsumer.org), the maker of right-priced, premium quality protein supplements, today announced the signing of IFBB Pro Xavisus Gayden to its roster of athletes. Gayden, the first active duty U.S. Marine to earn an International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB) Pro Card, will join Team Body Fortress, appearing in brand advertising as well as the brand’s website, contributing fitness articles to the brand e-newsletter and making appearances at events.

“I have huge respect for Body Fortress’s commitment to making high-quality protein regimens for training accessible to everyone,” said Gayden, also known to fans as X-Man. “As an IFBB Pro and U.S. Marine, good nutrition plays a critical role in my daily routine, and I look forward to sharing my experience and advice with the Body Fortress community.” 

Having served on active tours of duty overseas, Gayden is currently based at Camp Pendleton in California. He began his bodybuilding career in 2009 and in 2013 he placed first overall at the NPC National Championship, earning him his IFBB Pro card. Outside of bodybuilding, Xavisus serves as a career counselor with the United States Marine Corps, and pursues artistic passions like drawing and producing music.
