I love eating fish/seafood. I have recently observed that on days after i ate a Chinese buffet, my beard grew many times faster, compared with days when I did not eat the Chinese buffet. The Chinese buffet serves halibut, shrimp and other farm raised seafood. Could growth hormones be used to fasten the growth of seafood? from a reader.

Editor's note: This is a personal experience which should not be taken as a proof that farm-raised seafood is unsafe to eat.
