Intracranial hemorrhage is a hemorrhage or bleeding within the skull, according to wikipedia. An intracranial hemorrhage occurs when a blood vessel within the skull is ruptured or leaks.

Physical trauma can certainly result in intracranial bleeding. But certain other conditions like a ruptured aneurysm, anticoagulant therapy and disorders with blood clotting can increase the risk of an intracranial hemorrhage.

Intracranial hemorrhage is a serious condition in which blood builds up in the skull leading to increases in intracranial pressure, which can damage delicate brain tissue or limit its blood supply.

The condition can be diagnosed with CAT scan.
