**Don't Let Them Pave Paradise! Time Sensitive!**

Aloha,

Hawaii Island (The Big Island), Hawaii is ONLY SIX DAYS AWAY from passing an unprecedented and historical bill restricting Genetically Modified (GMO) crops for the entire Island. This bill is Hawaii County Bill 113.

[**Bill 113**](http://org2.salsalabs.com/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=gQreiQDmBWC2sHoYSIlvk5KLe17h8%2F04&ref=foodconsumer.org) will prohibit any further open air cultivation, propagation, development, or testing of genetically engineered crops or plants.

The bill is the result of years of hard work educating the public, supporting good candidates, and mobilizing supporters.

[**WE ARE JUST SIX DAYS AWAY**](http://org2.salsalabs.com/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=KQIU0jWupD%2FMnawaYHuzApKLe17h8%2F04&ref=foodconsumer.org) from the final reading of this bill.

The biotech industry is not going out without a fight: Biotech Company front organizations such as the "Big Island Ranchers" and "Farmers United" have spent tens of thousands of dollars to squelch the already overwhelming support for this bill.

**We need your help passing this bill.**

We've created some compelling spots that consumers need to hear so they will call their representatives and urge them to vote YES on County Bill 113.

**AND...The Institute for Responsible Technology Food Policy Fund has agreed to MATCH DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR.**
