Dear Readers,

As an Oregon resident, you’ll have the chance to help pass a mandatory GMO labeling law in November—but only if the Oregon Right to Know Campaign collects, by the July 3 deadline, enough signatures to get the initiative on the ballot in November.

[**Please download a petition and sign today!** ](http://www.google.com/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fsalsa3.salsalabs.com%2Fdia%2Ftrack.jsp%3Fv%3D2%26c%3DEUmP%252BORYaDrIPvXdGsKJY9TRMvbjwMy7&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNECOebVyv7dUPLA%5FhLVkxUGCIy7hg&ref=foodconsumer.org)

It costs money to hire professional signature-gatherers. But in Oregon, voters have the option to download the petition themselves, sign it and send it in.

**If thousands of people do this, now, there will be more time, and more money, to run a successful campaign in November. Please** [**download your petition**](http://www.google.com/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fsalsa3.salsalabs.com%2Fdia%2Ftrack.jsp%3Fv%3D2%26c%3DbpMlNzy%252BoXL%252FrFMBe0phYtTRMvbjwMy7&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNHttRNX7E1BCG4WEuWRAnlCHakWWQ&ref=foodconsumer.org) **now.**

Monsanto and Big food spent $77 million to defeat (by only 1 percent) GMO labeling initiatives in California (2012) and Washington (2013).

The biotech industry also recently spent heavily in Oregon, in an attempt to stop Jackson and Josephine counties from passing bans on GMO crops. But in those two counties, Oregon voters overcame Monsanto, even though they were outspent.

**We can win this statewide initiative in Oregon in November—but only if we get on the ballot.** The industry delayed our ability to start gathering signatures by filing a bogus challenge in court. They lost, but we now have to play catch-up.

**Please help get the required number of signatures so we can get the initiative on the ballot, and start getting the message out—and win in November. You can** [**download the petition here**](http://www.google.com/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fsalsa3.salsalabs.com%2Fdia%2Ftrack.jsp%3Fv%3D2%26c%3DXrPMg6yzwLOHdmRQYmxzq9TRMvbjwMy7&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNENFiX58TBC9GhV5op1uQ3jadIvOw&ref=foodconsumer.org)**.**

Thank you!
