Jorge Silva-Risso, an associate professor of marketing at the University of California, Riverside offered some tips in a paper newly released that suggest that you can save lots of money on your new car if you do a few things. It does not matter you buy Toyota Camry, or Honda Accord or luxury cars or economical cars, you can save.

Silva-Risso and colleagues did a survey of more than 1,400 car buyers and found car buyers can save up to $800 if they find out what a dealer pays for the cars they want to buy, which is so called invoice price, consider two dealers, like to bargain and like to do research and price comparison before making a purchasing decision.

Even those who do not like to bargain and do a lot of research can save $230 simply by doing two things: finding out the invoice price, and visiting two dealerships, Dr. Silva-Risso et al. reported.
