"Is there anything more important than your health?

No, there isn't.

Good health is promoted with clean air, clean water, and clean food.

But right now our planet is polluted with radiation from past atomic testing...and the nuclear meltdown in Chernobyl... and now from the nuclear power plant meltdowns in Fukushima, Japan.

That's why it's important to support an effort known as the California ballot initiative to shut down California's nuclear power plants.

This is important to everyone in the United States and around the world.

Why?

Because California's San Onofre nuclear power plant has the worst safety record of all 104 nuclear power plants in the U.S. Plus, California is on the "Ring of Fire" where 90% of earthquakes occur and California is also in a tsunami zone!

As you may know, the jet stream winds travel east, and if an accident were to occur at California's nuclear power plants, the winds blowing east and carrying radiation could potentially blanket anything along its path.

It could contaminate crops, land, real estate and not to mention the most important---> your health and the health of your children and grandchildren!

That's why this initiative to shut down California's power plants is so important to everyone!

The initiative is a grass-roots effort and requires over half a million signatures of California registered voters by the end of March 2012.
