The DARK Act is back.

After we successfully blocked the anti-consumer, anti-labeling bill last year, Big Food and its allies in Congress are getting ready to introduce the Deny Americans the Right to Know – or DARK – Act in the Senate *any day now*, and we have to be ready to stop it.

**But we can’t do it without your help. We need your voice to make sure your senators oppose ANY legislation that violates our right to know what’s in our food.**

A quick refresher: Backed by Big Food and biotechnology corporations like Monsanto that benefit from unlabeled GMO crops and food, the DARK Act robs states of the ability to require mandatory labels, makes the current failed, voluntary labeling system permanent law, all while making it more difficult to ever require mandatory labeling nationwide.

**Simply put, the DARK Act fails to provide consumers with the information they want, and perpetuates consumer confusion over exactly what food products do and do not contain GMO ingredients.**
