*Editor's comment: This is very easy to understand that vetetarians live longer. Animal-based food, meat or dairy products tend to promote your biological system to move forward because they tend to promote the production of hormones like growth factors, and other biological processes. Because of this, children who eat lots of meat and dairy products enter adulthood earlier than those who do not eat as much. Men who eat lots of meat and dairy products grow their beard faster. Monks who practice vegetarianism tend to live longer because the cycling of their hormones in their systems are slower. By the way, even if you do not eat meat and dairy products, but if you eat a lot of calories, your system works faster than those who eat less calories, meaning that you are getting older faster than those who eat less calories. That is why calorie restriction can extend a person's lifespan. Mental stress can be another risk factor for premature aging. So eating less meat/diary products, eating more vegetables, eat less calories and be happy with everyone and everything, you have a good chance to have a long lifespan and avoid a lot of chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer.*

Vegetarian diets can extend life expectancy, according to early findings from the Adventist Health Study-2\. Vegetarian men live to an average of 83.3 years, compared with nonvegetarian men who live to an average of 73.8 years. And vegetarian women live to an average of 85.7 years, which is 6.1 years longer than nonvegetarian women. This study is ongoing and includes more than 96,000 participants. The results further indicate vegan diets to be healthful and associated with a lower body weight (on average 30 lbs. lower than that of meat eaters), and lower risk of diabetes, compared with diets that include animal products.
