Emmy’s Organics Receives USDA Organic Certification, 
Gains Distribution in Whole Foods Midwest and CVS Pharmacy

Ithaca, NY (June 27, 2016) — Vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO mission-driven manufacturer Emmy’s Organics adds on more prestigious certification to its line of power snacks and cereals. The company recently received 100-percent USDA Organic certification, offering consumers one more assurance of its high quality ingredients. 
 
While Emmy’s has primarily used organic ingredients in its products, the company was challenged to find certified organic almond flour and chocolate chips that met their high-quality standards. The forward-thinking brand made sourcing these ingredients a top priority this year and was able to secure organic certification in May. 
 
“We know that for our customers labels are important.” says Emmy’s Co-founder and owner Samantha Abrams. “Not only do labels make it easier to find products that align with your values on the shelf, but they also ensure that you’re feeding yourself and your family the best. We are so happy to add organic certification to our line.” 
 
Emmy’s produces Macaroons and Cereals. Macaroons are available in both 2-oz. bags and 6-oz. gusseted pouches in various flavors including Raspberry, Chai Spice, Lemon Ginger, Chocolate Chip, Mint Chip, and Dark Cacao flavors. Super Cereals in 11-oz boxes are available in Apricot Vanilla Sprouted, Blueberry Cashews Sprouted and Cacao Coconut Sprouted and Sweet Buckwheat flavors.  
 
Now approved for Whole Foods Midwest region, Emmy’s products are available nationally in over 5,000 leading and independent natural and organic retailers including Whole Foods Markets, CVS Pharmacy, Sprouts, HEB, Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage, Wegmans, Barnes & Noble College, Heinens and more. Emmy's Organics' products are also distributed internationally in Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
