Thanks to thousands of people like you, a growing number of major grocery store chains have made commitments to reject genetically engineered (GE) salmon should FDA approve it for commercial production. In fact, the #1 and #2 grocers, Kroger and Safeway, and more than 60 other grocery retailers across the U.S. have committed to not sell this unnecessary, risky, unlabeled product. This campaign is building momentum, and you are making a difference!

Unfortunately, Costco still refuses to join its competition in rejecting GE salmon. Costco is one of the largest retailers of salmon and seafood in the U.S. and is one of the last large retailers that hasn’t yet made a commitment to keep GE salmon off its shelves.

We need to turn up the heat. It’s time for Costco to join its competitors and commit to keeping GE salmon off its shelves.

Even if the FDA approves this risky fish, by ensuring that the world’s biggest retailers refuse to sell it, we can send a strong message that there is no market for it.

Join us in telling the CEO of Costco to stop ignoring what its customers want. It’s time to step up to the plate and say NO to GE salmon!

Thanks for everything you do,
