Dear Readers,

With almost no warning, a group of Arkansas State Senators and Representatives introduced a bill this week that, if passed, will require that all public water systems in the state fluoridate their drinking water if they serve 5000 or more residents. Within 24 hours of the bill being introduced, a 10 minute long public hearing was held and a committee vote was taken with only one dissenting vote against the bill.

Tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 24) the full Arkansas State Senate will vote on SB359, "an act to provide for certain water systems to maintain a level of fluoride to prevent tooth decay; and for other purposes".

Not only does this legislation require the introduction of toxic and hazardous fluoridation chemicals into the drinking water, it does so without first requiring local approval.  No public consent is required what-so-ever!  Even worse, the bill does requires local taxpayers to fund the cost of the chemicals, maintenance, and operation of the system that they have no say in approving.

We need you to take a few moments to send a clear message to Arkansas Senators that it's simply wrong to shove fluoridated water down citizens throats, especially without their consent, and using their own tax dollars.

Important:

1.) If you live in Arkansas, PLEASE STATE THAT IN THE TITLE AND FIRST SENTENCE!

2.) If you do not live in Arkansas, then please only enter your name and email address, we would prefer you not specify where you live.  Legislators actually get angry when they see many emails from "out-of-state", and this will decrease our chances of defeating the bill.

3.) Please take an extra few seconds to customize the title of your message.  This will increase the likelihood that your email will be opened by Senators.  Customizing the message itself will also increase the chance that your message will be read, and will also be more influential.  Legislators prefer to see personalized messages.

Many thanks,
