I read with interest your article about the AICR/WCRF's latest report on meat and cancer and wanted to get in touch to let you know about a cancer-prevention guide I have written which is based on the AICR's recommendations.

A nutritionist, health writer (ex-FT journalist) and health cookery coach, I have just published *Zest for Life, The Mediterranean Anti-Cancer Diet,* a dietary cancer-prevention guide.

The book combines a scientific discussion of the diet/cancer connection based on the AICR/WCRF's recommendations with practical food tips and 150 anti-cancer recipes, all anchored in the traditional Mediterranean diet. (For more information, please visit the book's website: www.zestforlifediet.com.)

I wrote Zest for cancer patients and their carers, as well as for people wishing to prevent cancer. (I overcame early-stage cervical cancer 11 years ago and would have liked to own this book then!) As the Mediterranean diet also lowers the risks of obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hormonal imbalance and infertility (among others), Zest addresses anybody interested in good health! Twenty-five percent of royalties are donated to Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres.

I would be delighted if you could recommend Zest for Life to your readeres and members in your publications and on your website. As you can tell from its Amazon reviews, many readers have found it informative and user-friendly.

If you would like to know more about my work, please see my website, www.nutrelan.com, and my blog on Psychology Today.com (www.psychologytoday.com/blog/nourish). The British Daily Telegraph recently ran an article about my anti-cancer cookery classes (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/wellbeing/8299252/The-worlds-first-anti-cancer-cookery-school.html).

I look forward to hearing from you and exploring ways in which we can perhaps work together.

Many thanks and best regards,

Conner
