Crawford & Company Receives 2014 Global Award for Excellence in Case Management

ATLANTA (August 18, 2014) - Crawford & Company (NYSE: CRDA; CRDB), the world's largest independent provider of claims management solutions, has been awarded a 2014 Global Award for Excellence in Case Management in the category of Excellence in Claims Management Services. Sponsored by the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) and supported by BPM.com and Future Strategies Inc., these prestigious awards recognize organizations worldwide that have demonstrably excelled in implementing innovative solutions.
Crawford was recognized for its development of a set of internal business productivity applications that provide a range of data management, process automation, mobility, and social collaboration services that benefit the company's employees and clients. The applications were created on the Appian BPM platform.

These applications are part of "Crawford Desktop + Mobility"-a core set of desktop, mobile and social business process applications for claims adjusting resource management. Specific applications include claim portal management, claim assignment and scheduling, contractor extract (repairStream), automated claim report review/approval, and customer billing.
