Eat Real is a Family Affair...Bring the Whole Clan!


Just ONE WEEK until #ERF2014 and we can almost taste it! Though our last two missives have been a bit boozy, you can rest assured, at Eat Real there is plenty of fun for those under 21! On the beverage side, we've got a top shelf selection of EANABs (*Equally Attractive Non-Alcoholic Beverages, FYI). With options ranging fromcold-pressed juices & local kombucha to horchata lattes& nitrogen-infused cold brew coffee, you may want to start calling us the Drink RealFestival!  

And for those with little ones in tow, we'll have our family-fun-filled Kids' Zone in full effect all weekend. There will be Kids' Craft activities from Organic Valley and the Port of Oakland, at-home agriculture education from the folks at Back to the Roots, and even kid-friendly food demos! Your mini-foodie can learn to crank ice cream by hand, have a pickle party with Phat Beets or face-off in an epic Blender Battle brought to you bySprouts Cooking Club. At Eat Real, even the smallest of tots can enjoy the whole enchilada!

Of course, we've also got three stages throughout the event with awesome programming throughout the weekend (stay tuned for the full schedule release on Monday!) and great live music! Though food comes first and foremost in our books, we're always excited to showcase local talent on our stages. This year, we can't wait to see new acts like The California Sons and Grand Avenue Soul grace our stages as well as welcoming back old favorites like Dirty Cello and Misisipi Mike Wolf. And as always, between the bands and demos, we'll keep you moving and grooving with live DJ sets from Oakland's Motown on Mondays, Today's Future Sound, Emperors Jazz and more!
