A study suggests that a diet supplemented with 9xbamboo salt may help prevent obesity or weight gain. The study led by Kimchi Research Institute Busan Korea, Republic of Korea shows that mice fed a high fat diet supplemented with 9xbamboo salt in a dose of 4% for eight weeks "suppressed weight gain, food efficiency ratio, adipokine (leptin) secretion." 9xbamboo salt is prepared by roasting sea salt in bamboo trunks nine times. It is believed that 9xbamoo salt is more effective than 3x or 1x bamboo salt. Bamboo salt is found high in many minerals including calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, manganese, copper, and potassium, and zinc. In addition to its anti-obesity property, bamboo salt also provide a wide range of other health benefits including prevention against or treatment of cancer, allergy, inflammation, infection, chemotherapy side effects, gastric ulcer, diabetes, sore throat, and arthritis.
