Just as Vermont's pro-consumer GMO-labeling law is about to take effect, the DARK Act is back and DARKER than ever.

Senate Ag Committee Chairman, Pat Roberts (R-KS), and Ranking Member, Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) and Pat Roberts have pushed out a new "compromise" Senate bill to pre-empt state labeling initiatives and to usher in a whole new pro-biotech era just as Vermont's pro-consumer GMO-labeling law is set to take effectJuly 1.  Read more about it HERE.

Please call your senators today at 866-772-3843. When a staffer answers, tell them your name, where you are from, and say:

"I am a constituent and I care about my right to know what is in the food I eat.  I want my Senator to vote "no" on the "compromise" version of Senate Bill 2609."  (If you call back, you will automatically be routed to your second senator.)
