The following letter comes frmo the Food and Drug Administration explaining how to register food processing facility with the FDA.

I have included the instructions to register as a food facility under the Bioterrorism and Response Act of 2002.

 - Please access the website at www.access.fda.gov .
 - Click the blue "Login" button (either, it does not matter).  You will be directed to the FURLS Login page.  
 - On the FURLS Login page, click the "Create New Account" button.  Fill the "Create An Account" form, "Create an Account" type of access request (you should be checking Food Facility Registration and/or Prior Notice), and then click the "Continue" button.
 - Once you review the information, on the "Create an Account" verify screen, click the "Submit" button.    Please be sure to note your Account ID (FDA generated) and Password (your created).
 - On the "Create an Account" final screen, click the "Click Here to Login" button.  You will be directed to the FURLS Home page. (2) Registration 
(*) On the FURLS Home page, click "Food Facility Registration" button.  You will be directed to the FFRM, Food Facility Registration Module.
(*) In the FFRM, click the "Register a Food Facility" button.
(*) Fill all sections (13)/steps (8), once done Submit and you will get a Food Facility Registration Number immediately.
