No weight loss pills are needed. If you want to lose some weight, simply follow a simple diet. According to the People magazine, Jordan Wessel, the Miss Arizona 2014 winner and a Miss USA contestant, lost 40 pounds in four months using a simple diet.
The diet consists of the following:
Breakfast: homemade protein waffles with "half a cup of gluten-free oatmeal blended with half a cup of MuscleEgg and half a cup of blueberries"
Lunch: 4 oz. of chicken with salad
Dinner: 4 oz. of chicken and steamed veggies
Snacks between breakfast and lunch: a piece of fruit
Snacks between lunch and dinner: some type of protein
Is there any magic here? Probably not. Readers may notice a few things
1) She did not eat any processed foods or prepared meals
2) No sweets
3) No high fat foods
4) Use fruit, veggies
5) Use mostly protein and some carbohydrate
The problem with this diet is that not everyone can follow this diet.
Dr. Colin T. Campbell suggests that you can eat whatever amount of foods and maintain a healthy weight as long as you use a plant-based diet (that is a vegan diet). This diet has the same issue - not everyone can follow the diet.
For most people who want to lose weight may need to take dietary supplements in addition to a modified diet.
Dietary supplements that may help weight loss include fucoxanthin, raspberry ketone, spirulina, and garcinia cambogia among many others. (edited by David Liu)
