Abort it or not, it is an individual's choice.  But taxpayers who may or may not support abortion actually all have to pay their taxes to support an organization that is the largest abortion service provider in the U.S.   The organization called Planned Parenthood performed about 332,000 abortion procedures in 2009 in the United States and the revenue from abortion services totaled 164 million dollars, according to wikipedia.

According to a report released by foxnews.com, a taxpayer who makes between 50k and 100 k per year actually has to pay $15.51 to Planned Parenthood in the name of income tax.   If a taxpayer makes above 250 K per year, he roughly pays $420 toward the organization.  The report says that the federal government gives 500 million dollars each year and the organization has received more than 4 billion in the past ten years from state and federal agencies.

Another news report cited the latest Gallut Poll on abortion as showing that "55% of Americans want abortion legal in only a few circumstances or outlawed altogether."  Only 29% want abortion legal in all and any circumstances.
