Vitamins
Children with celiac disease should take vitamins
University of Alberta researchers studied 43 children and teens with celiac disease and found low bone density, insufficient vitamin D and under half the recommended vitamin K intake. Diana Mager recommends both vitamins plus daily outdoor activity to protect their bones.

Scientists Find Culprits that Cause Celiac Disease
Researchers at Melbourne's Walter and Eliza Hall Institute say they have identified the specific gluten fragments that trigger celiac disease, after more than 200 patients ate bread, rye muffins or barley and gave blood tested against thousands of fragments.
