Among 200 adults aged 20 to 60, those with a history of pneumonia or acute bronchitis had worse periodontal health than those who never had respiratory problems, a Journal of Periodontology study reports, pointing to a possible link. Periodontists urge daily brushing, flossing and yearly checks.
