Isaac Eliaz describes lab work by microbiologist Rose Cooper at the University of Wales Institute, in which Manuka honey fought off drug-resistant germs including MRSA. He notes raw honey's antioxidants, enzymes and an antiseptic called inhibine, long used on skin before antibiotics took over.
