Meat, dairy products, sugar may up breast cancer risk - studies

Two studies tie insulin-like growth factor I to breast cancer: French researchers measured higher average serum IGF-I in 44 patients than in 92 controls, 26 versus 20 ng/ml, and a second found top-quartile women 92 percent more likely to be diagnosed, an association seen only in Caucasian women.
