Radiotherapy

Following 4,456 women who survived breast cancer at least five years, French researchers recorded 421 cardiovascular deaths and found radiotherapy patients 76 percent more likely to die of cardiac disease, 56 percent for left-sided treatment. All were irradiated before 1984.
