A Clinical Endocrinology study found men in the highest quintile of blood vitamin D had 8 percent higher total testosterone than those in the lowest, with the association flattening above roughly 75 to 85 nmol/L. The authors say the causality and direction remain unresolved.

Vitamin K may help men with low sexual hormone
Male Wistar rats fed a vitamin K-free diet for 35 days had lower testicular testosterone, and their serum testosterone dropped further after researchers triggered inflammation with lipopolysaccharide. The authors suggest testicular vitamin K helps hold testosterone steady.
Disease
Shorter index fingers linked to higher prostate cancer risk
Men whose index fingers were shorter than their ring fingers were about a third more likely to develop prostate cancer, and 87 percent more likely among men under 60, according to a British Journal of Cancer study. Relative finger length is set before birth.
