A new study led by scientists at Izmir Katip Celebi University in Izmir, Turkey shows that mobile phone (cell phone) -induced electromagnetic radiation at 900 MHz induced oxidative cell damage and cell viability and selenium supplements counteract the effects of the mobile phone radiation on apoptosis and oxidative stress.Selenium is part of many antioxidant enzymes and it is available as an antioxidant supplement on the Internet and local health stores.
