ARKANSAS: Mandatory fluoridation imminent
Senate Bill 359 would require Arkansas water systems serving 5,000 or more people to fluoridate. It has cleared a Senate committee, the full Senate and a House committee, and Delta Dental's CEO pledged $500,000, or more if needed, to cover start-up costs in the 32 affected communities.

The Toxin So Dangerous - Even CDC Now Warns Against Consumption by Infants
One study found the fluorapatite shield fluoride forms on teeth is only about 6 nanometers thick, leading scientists to question how it protects. Another reports lower IQ scores among children in a high-fluoride area. Mercola calls fluoride a neurotoxin.

Opportunity to tell DHHS to end fluoridation now
The Department of Health and Human Services proposed lowering the recommended fluoride level in artificially fluoridated water to 0.7 ppm, replacing the 1962 range of 0.7 to 1.2 ppm, citing children's overexposure. The Fluoride Action Network wants comments filed by February 14.
